What a great day to go tubbing!

We took Trevor & Brooke tubbing today. It was a great day the weather was'nt to cold. But they only got to go down the hill about 5-6 times before both tubes had popped. But they still had fun any way!

Insane in the membrain!

"Insane in the membrain. I'm insane I got no brain." Just like Cypress Hill says. But instead of having no brain, I'm just loosing mine! Let me explain....

Every day at almost 11:00 a.m. is when it's nap time, for all the kids I babysit, so I need to change everyone's diaper's, get bottles ready, find blankies, find binkies, and lay everyone down. But today I looked around and saw they were still smiling and they were still playing good so I thought I would let them keep on playing and I'll wait for a little while longer then lay them down. Man who was I kidding? Everyone all at once decided they were beyond tired and started this horriable, shreeking, siren sound. They would not cooroperate in finding their blankets, changing their diapers, and as I'm standing at the changing table fighting to get the diaper on one child, I have another one or two hanging onto my leg, still howling, then I head to the kitchen to retrieve a bottle, they all follow me, I turn around to trip on another, then they are howling even louder, because they fell on their little diapered bum. Well you get the picture. I had to fight with each one and none of them would help in getting the process complete. All the while I kept looking at the clock, thinking they were only a little over an hour past their normal nap time? So by about 12:10 I finally managed to get it all accomplished. The whole time while I was fighting to get diapers changed, and hearing the melt down of each child get louder, & louder....that song was just kept repeating "Insane in the membrain, I'm insane I've got no brain!"

So the morral of the story is stick to your children's nap time schedual's, even if you think they arn't tired, they look like they are having fun, and they are still smiling! It is decieving! And you might just go insane in the membrain like I just did.
