Happy Birthday Adam!

This year for Adam's birthday the kids and I decided that it would be fun to have a surprise party for Adam 36th birthday. I called his family and we all met for dinner at Olive Garden. (We missed Heidi and Lonnie they were not able to come because of sick kids) It was really fun and hard to keep it from him! Me and the kids got him an MP3 player, and he got a very yummy chocolate cake. He had a great Birthday, thanks you to those of you that were able to make it for dinner! It was great seeing and catching up with everyone.

We took the kids up to the University of Utah to see the gymnastics competition, with Adam's brother Rob and his family. It was really cool, the kids had never seen or has been to a huge arena. They thought it was really neat to see. It was a lot of fun! GO UTES!

The karate kid

We enrolled Trevor into Karate, he has picked it up really fast, and has really liked it. He looked so cute the first day getting he uniform, I couldn't help but snap some pics.

Midway Ice Castle

On Saturday Feb 27th we drove to Midway with Matt, Heather, Kaylee & James Farnsworth to see the Midway Ice Castle. It was really cool! The kids really liked it. We took tons of pictures. They kept taking my camera because they wanted to take pictures too. Then we found this charming little restaurant called Cafe Galleria we ate pizza and salad. We also stopped in Heber and got an ice cream from McDonald's, as we got out of our cars, they had the fire truck loaded with boys, with police escorting, sirens blazing, all the way down Main street in Heber. I guess they must have won their game. By the time we got done eating and getting an ice cream it was dark, so we drown back by the Ice castle to see it with all the lights on It was really neat! It was such a great way to spend the day!

Weekend trip down south

We took the kids to Price Utah to see the wooly mammoth, found in Huntington Reservoir. Then we drove by my old house in Huntington Utah, I grew up there until I was 16. Then we went out on the out side of town and let the kids shot the guns. Trevor’s a natural, he shot the 1st clay pigeon, on his 1 st try and then hit the second one too. He hit everyone Adam threw up. Brooke just tried to shot it once and it kicked back so hard she didn’t want to do it again. But she was happy shooting the 22. After we shot the guns, we headed baxck to Price and ate at JB's then headed back home. They had a great time! I think we are coming back this summer to camp!
